How to Make Ramadan More Productive and Blessed

Ramadan is one of them month in year where is the hijriyah? all over people Muslim required For carry out worship fast. Worship fasting is also included in get along well Islam is the one four must done by every religious person Islam . As we know that fast means withhold self from eat, drink and everything thing that can be cancel fast started from rise dawn until immersed his sun. 

In the Al-Quran surah Al Baqarah verse 183 which states about obligation fasting. 

يٰٓـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوۡا كُتِبَ عَلَيۡکُمُ الصِّيَامُ کَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى الَّذِيۡنَ مِنۡ قَبۡلِکُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُوۡنَۙ ‏ ١٨٣ 

“O people who believe! It is obligatory upon you to quickly as it was obligatory upon those before you so that you may be righteous,” 

In the paragraph the can We know that objective from fast is increase piety people Muslims. For maximizing piety We to Allah We can do worship and activities productive others in a way maximum For get mark reward and blessing.

Intention  

In language you can We interpret as Meaning or objective whereas in a way term intention can interpreted as Meaning or originating goal from heart For do something deed. So that intention categorized as into the condition in worship, incl fasting.

 إنَّما الأعْمالُ بالنِّيَّةِ , وإنَّما لاِمْرِئٍ ما نَوَى 

Truly practices That depends his intention” (HR Bukhari) 

Based on hadith the that every our actions do based on the intention that lies within heart us, if deed we intend for worship so that will worth reward with Allah.

Worship  

Understanding from worship is submission man to Allah is the one who does it based on strong faith For carry out order Allah as well as stay away every prohibition God is purposeful get pleased Allah , reward from heaven and forgiveness from God. Objective from worship is For increase devotion servant to God.

  1. Fasting 

Fasting is included room scope worship that has understanding the act carried out somebody in a way volunteer or sincere with withhold self For no Eat or drink as well as no do annulling action fast For period certain example we are fasting in the month of Ramadan which has duration rise dawn until sunk sun for 30 days.

  1. Pray 

Pray is worship mandatory for all muslim. pray divided to in two category that is obligatory (fardhu) pray and sunnah pray. Obligatory pray is regular prayer,we do it 5 times a day namely, subuh prayer, dzuhur, Asr, Maghrib and Isya. Whereas Sunnah prayer is prayers that don’t required For held will but recommended Because worth reward on the side God. Sunnah prayers that we can do during the month of Ramadan is midnight prayer ( Qiyamul Lail ). As for priority midnight prayer in the Ramadan  

“and the best prayer after obligatory prayer is a midnight prayer” (HR Muslim) 

Midnight prayer or the usual one called Qiyamul lail prayer is a pray we can do between Isya prayer until subuh prayer consisting from rakat even and odd There is a number of Midnight Prayer ( Qiyamul lail ) that can we do including : 

a. Tarawih Prayers 

Linguistically derived from the word at- tarawiih which means a short break ) . Tarawih prayers are legal is the sunnah of muakadah (very recommended) in the month Ramadan, usually Tarawih prayers are performed in 8 rakats with 3 rakaat witir prayer but there are those who do This with 20 rakats with 3 witrs. Witir prayer can done in a way congregation or by ourself ( munfarid ). 

b. Tahajjud prayer 

Tahajjud originate from the word at- tahajjud which has meaning get up from Sleep at time midnight. Implementation time tahajjud prayer is after get up sleep on time middle night us can do Salat tahajjud with 2 rak’ahs or 4 rak’ahs, tahajjud prayer we can do alone ( munfarid

  1. Dhuha prayer 

Dhuha Prayer is Sunnah prayers performed on time beginning time Afternoon day that is when sun start rise size One spear (2.5 meters) until with approaching time noon when sun appropriate is at on head. Salat Dhuha can done with 2 or 4 rak’ahs  

3. Reading the Quran and doing dhikr 

  1. Reading Al-Qur’an 

شَهۡرُ رَمَضَانَ الَّذِىۡٓ اُنۡزِلَ فِيۡهِ الۡقُرۡاٰنُ هُدًى لِّلنَّاسِ وَ بَيِّنٰتٍ مِّنَ الۡهُدٰى وَالۡفُرۡقَانِۚ فَمَنۡ شَهِدَ مِنۡكُمُ الشَّهۡرَ فَلۡيَـصُمۡهُ ؕ ١٨٥ 

” The month of Ramadan is (the month) in which the Qur’an was revealed, as guidance for mankind and explanations of that guidance and the difference (between the true and the false)” (Al-Baqarah :185) 

Based on paragraph on we know that the Quran lowered in the month Ramadan For that’s recommended lots read the Quran on this month. Reading the Al- Quran is including to the category of worship Lafzhiyah . 

We can reading Al- Qur’an after fardhu as many as 2 pages or 4 pages every the day.

  1. Dzikir 

Dzikir It means remember Allah with Lots mention Name Allah Good in a way oral as well as inside heart in various circumstances and always feel supervised by Allah swt. Dhikr is also included into the category worship lafzhiyah 

يٰۤ ـاَيُّهَا الَّذِيۡنَ اٰمَنُوا اذۡكُرُوۡا اللّٰهَ ذِكۡرًا كَثِيۡرًا ۙ‏ ٤١ 

“O people who believe! Remember Allah, by remembering (His name) as much as possible,” (Al Ahzab : 41)

Guard Health 

A article research conducted by Jasem in the journal of Sport Science stated that active group do activity physique like exercise shows hydration status more Good throughout fast Ramadan ,as well active in activity physical too help maintain and gain a number of adaptation fitness and fasting Ramadan can walk with more Good.

  1. Sport  

Type sports that can done at the time fast that is : 

a. Cardiac exercise or cardio including jogging, walking fast until bicycle

b. Exercise strength, activity that can done are push ups, sit ups, back ups, planks, squats, activity This done so still healthy and fit as well as guard form body still ideal. 

Right time For exercising 

a. Before break the fast or about 1 hour before breaking the fast, so after activities sport was finished coincide with time break the fast so that fluid body as well as lost energy can quick replaced. 

b. After breaking the fast or after Tarawih prayers, The activities we can do it, because condition of body more better , so that’s it not afraid weak or fatigue because the reduction fluid.

c. Before sahur, we can do sport activities, if we can get up more beginning so that can do activity physique. Activity This can guard condition body stay fresh from dawn until the afternoon.

Duration sport depends There is condition each individual, more good if can done 3-5 times in a week with duration every 30 – 50 minutes of activity.

2. Guard pattern Eat 

  1. Eat Sahur , Rasulullah recommend For Eat sahur for the body can keep energy and substances nutrition For operate fast . Recommended food _ For sahur : 
  • Consumption food complete consists from source carbohydrate complex , protein and fat 
  • Choose food with fiber food tall . Food fibrous tall can make stomach full longer . Source fiber that can found can originate from fruit ( dates , apples , bananas, etc. ) , vegetables ( spinach , kangkong, etc. ) , cereals ( rice red , wheat , corn, etc. ) 
  • Avoid Source carbohydrate simple as the main menu moment sahur . Carbohydrate simple more easy absorbed by the body so that We can easy feel hungry . Example carbohydrate simple: Sugar, Bread, Instant Noodles. 
  1. Break the fast Fasting , no excessive moment break the fast fasting and the Messenger of Allah recommend For hasten fasting . 
  • Consumption takjil containing carbohydrate simple and juicy like : dates , fresh fruit , coconut water .
  • Eat in small portion can help stomach adapt after all day No Work Because of fasting. 
  • Consumption food main after operate Maghrib prayer

Increasing knowledge 

  1. Reading Book

Moment We fast naturally experience decline energy and ease feel tired so lazy to do activity others but , when This do access to library national with access service downloadable application with the name ” ipusnas ” as well as other websites that provide it digital books can be read in frame fill in time free moment fasting. 

  1. Watching religious videos or story films of prophet 

Ramadan is the right month For add new knowledge about current religion, before Ramadan we were too Busy with world affairs, then Ramadan be the right moment For repair our knowledge about religion like watch some videos Islamic knowledge and about history Islam and the stories of previous prophets. 

  1. Create Kindness content  

Ramadan can become full month blessing Because reward folded double on the month this, especially if we can share our kindness 

وَلۡتَكُنۡ مِّنۡكُمۡ اُمَّةٌ يَّدۡعُوۡنَ اِلَى الۡخَيۡرِ وَيَاۡمُرُوۡنَ بِالۡمَعۡرُوۡفِ وَيَنۡهَوۡنَ عَنِ الۡمُنۡكَرِ ​ؕ وَاُولٰٓ ٮِٕ كَ هُمُ الۡمُفۡلِحُوۡنَ ‏ ١٠٤ 

“And let there be among you a group of people who call to virtue, enjoin (doing) what is good, and forbid what is bad. 1 And those are the lucky ones” (Qs Al- Imran: 104)
